Praying the family may be comforted during this difficult time. Shawnta was one of the first friends I made after moving to Balch Springs as a teenager, and she has always and will continue to have a special place in my heart. She welcomed me like we had been knowing each other forever and we were thick as thieves at one point; we managed to keep in touch over the years. I have only fond memories of her and pray that her family be blessed with closeness and sweet memories. I know that she loved her children dearly and I pray they forever know how much. My family will definitely keep you all in our prayers.

When I met you nine months ago, we truly connected. You always had a smile on your face even if things seemed hard. I'm going to miss our crazy moments. Our talks about our children and you having to work to buy Miles name brand apple juice. Lol... Work will not be the same without you but I can honestly say you are in a better place because you had a personal relationship with our heavenly father. I love you and will truly miss you...Audria aka May May

God is our refuge and strength. He is able to take care of your family during this difficult time.No words can take away the pain but in time the peace will come in prayer. She was a God fearing women and she is resting in the arms of Jesus. To her children God will be a Mother to the Motherless, and will give you peace in the mist of the storm. Remember everything she taught you and take it with you daily.May God Bless You and keep you and the family in this difficult time.My prayers are with you.
- Michelle
